It’s Another Uber-Model – Marcus Schenkenberg

Now, don't ask me how to pronounce this guys full name, but I'll add it here for you to play with. Born Marcus Lodewijk Schenkenberg van Mierop, this top male model is widely known as Marcus Schenkenberg, which is probably a good thing, because using his full name might be difficult for many. Rumored to still be the highest paid male model in the world, Marcus Schenkenberg found fame in the early 90's as an exclusive model for Calvin Klein. But since then he's branched out into so many other creative outlets it could be hard to keep track.

While his modeling continued to grow with work alongside some major names and agencies, he has since made numerous TV appearances, recorded a song, released a book and a fitness DVD. While most of this probably goes along with the modern stereotypical image we have of "celebrity" not many manage to pull of the move to a musical career from the launchpad of modeling or acting. However, although his one recording studio debut was intended as a fun side project, he was soon being wooed by the head honchos of EMI, and the track even made it to the soundtrack of the movie Flawless starring Robert De Niro! Despite this musical success, he did have the passion for it and soon chose to focus on what he knew best, acting and modeling.

I have to admit he is very handsome, with a perfect mix of Dutch and Indonesian heritage which makes him highly distinctive in the sea of good looking models out there. And no, I'm not going to comment on those trunks in the third image. lol
