The Masculine Gay Art Of Awesome Wim Beullens

If you didn't know it, I dabble in gay art myself.

I actually studied art in college. Turns out there's not a whole lot of money in art, unless you can make enough of a ruckus that you can attract media attention.

There are a lot of artists whose work I love. Obviously Tom of Finland is an icon when it comes to erotic creations in our culture, but I think Wim Beullens might be up there for me after seeing his work.

This Belgian artist is amazing, and I'm gonna get all artsy on your ass by explainin why.

First, obviously, his subjects are super masculine. We all love to see that in some sexy creations.

Beyond that, his style is quite traditional. I've always loved pencil and ink, and this guy does it extremely well. His control of tone and contrast is excellent.

I don't own a lot of art by any other creators, but after seeing the work of this talented artist I want some of it on my walls.
