Why does anyone want to try to make Dahmer sexy? it’s sick.
I agree. I am very uncomfortable with this trend of getting the hottest of hot young Hollywood to portray serial killers. I think it glamorizes them and creates empathy when there should be none.
It’s not so much that the producers wanted to make Dahmer sexy – it’s that the real Jeff Dahmer WAS a rather handsome guy – as was Ted Bundy. The appeal of good looks can go a long way in explaining why they were able to entice their victims to let their guard down.
