Loading...I'm going to start this one off by being a little less than flattering about this shoot. I know, I can almost hear the groan from all of you, but I have to be upfront about this shoot featuring Felipe Herrera Jiménez and say first of all that there is something wrong with it.
What's with all the damn air brushing!? You can see it too, right? Either he has been smoothed and polished post shoot, or he was wearing so much makeup he could have cracked if he moved. lol
It doesn't take away from the sexiness of the guy himself, and I think we can all appreciate his handsome face and that delicious body. But come on, there has to be a limit to the image of "perfection" put out by these people and we have to call them out on it sometimes, especially when it makes the guy look like a wax work.
These photos are for Joe Snyder, and although I love the setting and the guy featured, having checked out some of their other shoots it's all a little too fake, smooth and shiny for me.
What say you? Is it okay to smooth models out until they look like mannequins, or should there be a little more raw honesty and a natural presentation? That's your task for today boys, I expect your comments to be on my desk by the end of the lesson ;)

I go both ways (in more ways than one).
I can appreciate a hairy guy. I love having something to run my fingers through and hand on to. Some guys have too much hair (genetics), though, and so a little manscaping is in order.
That being said, everyone wants to look their best for those special moments – weddings, first lay with a new guy, underwear shoot – so it’s not unusual to want to be seal-smooth. Smooth allows you to see definition, scars, tattoos … all of the things that make a guy unique.
If I had to choose, smooth. But anybody who’s anybody knows that hairy can be fun, too.
You never need to apologize for posting clean models on this site — no hair, no ink, no piercings — just real men. The women wannabes should be banned to another site.
