Boys Being Boys – Stewart Shining

Sometimes I deliberately go looking for the work of a specific photographer when I have an idea that they might posses a style that I love. I did that today after seeing an image taken by Stewart Shining, and I certainly wasn't disappointed!

The pics I've found for this post are all in a specific kind of theme, they're all about boys being boys, almost captured just being themselves. I love photography like that, where it's not staged and there hasn't been a whole lot of effort put into arranging the shot. It's like we're voyeurs, looking through a hot young guys personal photo album showing all the fun he had on holiday and all the sexy boys he met. lol

This NYC-based photographer is perhaps more famous for his amazing images of celebrities in magazines like Vanity Fair and Rolling Stone, but personally I prefer this style of intimate and genuine imagery, just some really sexy boys being boys, playful and natural, making us all wish that we were there with them to enjoy the day, just passing time ;)

It does make me think of the summer, and all the interesting people I meet and all the friends I catch up with. Enjoy and imagine!
