We Go Back In Time To Enjoy Yves LeCoadou

I'm pretty good when it comes to gay history. I know my Alan Turing from my Rock Hudson and my Dirk Bogarde from my Cary Grant.

However, this is the first time I'm hearing of photographer John Barrington and the photos he took of his gorgeous lover Yves LeCoadou back in the 1950s.

I'm about to go down a rabbit hole of information now that I know this guy existed (he passed away in '91).

According to what I've learned so far he was the British equivalent of Bob Mizer and produced thousands upon thousands of photos of handsome and muscular young men for publication.

It's great to finally know of a British counterpart to the legendary Mizer, and now I know about him I'm going to be obsessed for a while lol

These photos are allegedly of his lover at the time, a French model named Yves LeCoadou, who moved with him to London.

I can't get over how much this handsome man looks like both James Dean and Jeff Buckley, depending on the angle and the light.

He's gorgeous, and I think we might need to see more of both him and the other models Barrington photographed.
