Mr. X Takes His Own Photos, And We’re Here For It

Loading...A long time ago, when I was a young art student (I mean in my 20s), I had a friend in my class who used to paint some amazing male nudes. Our tutor really liked his work, so much so that she bought one of his paintings and got a warning because it was somehow considered improper.
He really was an amazing artist though and if I could have afforded it I would have bought a painting too. Having remembered him today I think I might get out there later and see what he's up to.
Anyway, it turned out that he used to pose for his work himself. He used to set up a camera and get into position, take the photo and then produce the painting from that source image.
Now, let's talk about Mr. X, a photographer and model who takes his own images.
We know nothing about him other than his name and that he's the creator behind every bit of this, and what he's produced is really something.
He's handsome, fit, talented, and basically ideal boyfriend material, in my opinion.
I love these photos so much, they're simple but so good!

Normally, with the self-mutilation at all, I would vote thumbs down. But, his talent as a photographer — he plays with light very well, captures his subject with some impressive and provocative angles — deserves encouragement. I look forward to seeing his future efforts — with other, cleaner models.
