The Spooky Male Nudes Of Tim Walker

So, you guys know that I love the unusual, when I see a photo shoot that really grabs my attention I want to share it with you guys and let you have a look at it. I definitely wanted to share this slightly creepy series of shots by photographer Tim Walker. There's quite a lot to know about this series of images, so strap in and let's get to it... Tim Walker is most known for fantasy-themed editorial work, fashion photography and the like. He was working on a series of images for an issue of Humanity being edited by the world famous David Bailey and he proposed a challenge for Walker, suggesting he should shoot some male nudes for the issue. I guess if you're a photographer and Bailey asks you to try something, you better damn well do it! lol Apparently, he's never shot male nudes before and it wasn't easy, but I think the results we get a taste of here are pretty damn good. The house of mirrors theme is pretty bizarre, the colors and settings fascinating, and you can see his usual fantasy aspect creeping in here and there. I wish there was a little more nudity to share with you guys in this one, I guess they saved most of it for the issue, which is understandable. It's still a great series of photos that are both unsettling and strangely beautiful at the same time.
