He likes his guys to be more real than a lot of the professional male models out there, he picks his guys carefully, showing an amateur side of male modeling that the major brands and names tend to ignore. The reality is that all men can be sexy, everyone has something about them that makes them potentially hot, and you don't need to be the shiny buff jock from an A&F shoot to be incredibly hot.
