Tyler Martin By Tony Duran – Camper Than Glastonbury

I think it's time I was a little more controversial on the blog, and when I was diverted to this collection of pics of the very handsome Tyler Martin captured in these images by Tony Duran I just had to comment.

As I was scrolling through I thought that there was some androgyny going on here, but after checking out the whole shoot I have to confess that it's just one of the campest photo shoots I think I have ever seen! lol

Don't misunderstand me, I don't have anything against effeminate men (do I dare say that "some of my closest gay friends are camp"? lol) but this is just over the top camp, camper than Christmas, camper than a VW Campervan with 60's style flower decals, camper than - yes - Glastonbury.

I've seen some shoots with the gorgeous Tyler Martin before, and I know it's not his natural persona coming through. So I can only assume that the impression is deliberate. It's interesting to see a photographer using something like that in his images and creating a real feeling, creating an entire character for the shoot.

I know that's what a lot of fashion photographers do for editorials and such, but this one is pretty out there.

Still, Tony Duran is a master of photography, and Tyler Martin is one gorgeous young man. It's just the resulting shots that I'm not too sure about ;)
