Muscle And Light – Luminosity By Mark Henderson

I was on the hunt for a new calendar this afternoon, and although I haven't found one that stole my attention just yet, I was a little distracted by all the photography books coming out this year. I remember having a few of these way back, when I was a lowly student. Some of the work in those was awesome. But this one is definitely the kind of photography book I could use to kick off a new phase of that passion!

I've featured the stunning work of photographer Mark Henderson a few times on the blog, and his images always amaze me. They're just perfect, so detailed and they really show off every single bulge and ridge on the subjects body. He's definitely one of the very few photographers who can really capture the raw muscle of a hunk using perfect lighting and just the right setting.

This collection of shots (I know, there aren't many here, but I couldn't NOT share them, could I?) are for an upcoming book titled "Luminosity". It's being compiled for the Bruno Gmünder publishing house, and I guess it's gonna be out in the next few weeks or months.

I can't wait, I have to confess. I love these shots, they're perfectly teasing and seductive, and the guys are just perfection!
