Remembering The Wild Male Nudity in the First Three Seasons of Monster

Lizzie follows Jeffrey Dahmer, brothers Lyle and Erik Menendez, and Ed Gein as the fourth subject of the hit Netflix franchise. Season four happens to have the smallest opening viewership of the four seasons: The Lizzie Borden Story debuted at No. 1 with 12.1 million views, compared with 12.3 million for the Menendez season and 12.2 million for Ed Gein.

We believe that women can be anything, including murderers, so we’re not blaming the low numbers on Lizzie. The new season of Monster features only a brief booty shot from Beatty’s costar, Charlie Hunnam. What did Ryan Murphy think would happen?
