Kramer Evans Nude Portraits by Roger Nguyen | Part 2
WHY THIS COLLECTION OF THIS MODEL IS SO IMPORTANT TO ME.

I was reminded by Site Owner Zach that I am the ONLY Photographer who has been given this unique platform with its global reach to showcase my work. My previous post was more about marketing Kramer as a project than introducing myself as talented photographer and connecting with new fans.
I was indeed initially intimidated by Kramer's past collaborations with famous photographers I admired such as David Vance and Paul Freeman, among others. There were bound to be comparisons, and fan favorites, but I did not have the name recognition or massive global following of loyal fans behind me. I was confident in the originality, artistry and technical execution of my images. I knew my signature style of portraiture lighting and composition would captivate viewers. I hoped and prayed that my work would be acknowledged for its excellence on its own merit. I aspired to belong to that very small group of masters and be accepted as a peer.
That previous post received over 15,000 views and was highly praised on the basis of the beauty of the model. As an experienced portrait photographer of 25 years, the foundation of my work is to create beautiful images and optimize the depiction of all my subjects through lighting techniques, eliciting appropriate eye contact, facial expressions, and using simple poses to generate exquisite compositions. I shoot my models on plain backgrounds usually black, grey or white. My model's faces are well lit without shadows. My black and white images are layered to achieve maximum depth of field which can only be appreciated in fine art prints where ink density can be observed as a subtle gradient or as pitch black.
