Loading...Thinking about the way things have progressed is a sign of getting old, and I regularly now measure it in how good live gay cams are.
I don't want to say my age, but let's just say I was on the internet in the late 90s.
I remember all the file sharing programs, torrents, link lists, password sites, and the earliest live cams.
Back then I think it was basically just limited to messenger services like Yahoo and MSN.
It would be a small little box on the screen, and you'd be clicking from one account to another to find something interesting. These were just random guys at home, showing off for the fun of it. There was no monetization of it back then.
The resolution was terrible on dial-up. You'd see more snow than dick lol
Then came the first incarnations of real cams, usually set up by porn sites. I admit, a certain Fraternity site was my preferred haunt. I do kind of miss that.
It really is amazing how far things have come in such a short time, but they do say that most of the online world and development only came about because of porn, right?
That's definitely true when it comes to live-streaming, no doubt about it.

I was hooked on chatting on gay.com back in ’98
I used to watch this former fireman work out on cam, he didn’t start out doing fully nude. Then he had a roommate named Gunner and he started doing workouts with Gunner as the weight (something he called Gunner ups) eventually he started his own cam site with other ‘models’ fully nude and pay to watch. Wish I could remember his name or even the site name.
