The Pursuit Of Full-Frontal Fashion And Fitness Fantasies

Gay Body Blog is the perfect forum for me to share my work.  It seems that seeing our favorite fashion and fitness models baring it all in a full-frontal photoshoot is a common fantasy shared by many readers of this Blog. 

I have been incorporating some of the technical and creative elements of fashion photography into my male nude portraits and erotica, hoping to imbue the men in my images with the same power that male fashion models seem to possess.

The inspiration for the merging of these different genres actually began in 2008 when I met Jakub Stefano and was smitten by his chiseled, handsome face and mesmerizing green eyes.  He was 23 years old, in the prime of his youth with a flawless complexion and a naturally lean muscular physique.  He was used to modeling swimwear or being naked for photoshoots.  He looked incredible dressed in classic pieces and enjoyed being a fashion model for the day.  We created some beautiful images from the shoot that combined elements from fashion, fitness, and fine art nude portraiture.

I had been away from the studio for 15 years and I needed to learn new techniques and practice shooting fashion.  I found many profiles on Instagram  of aspiring models who had great potential but were lacking professional images to build their portfolio.  Before each shoot I would ask the models to send me images that they liked and I would challenge myself to figure out the lighting set-ups and techniques to achieve the same results.
